WOODHALLX | SLDS × THE DIGITAL HALL

Evidence-Based Strategy. Built to Be Found.

Where credibility meets discoverability for the public health agencies, coalitions, and healthcare organizations doing essential work across the DMV.

Great work doesn’t matter if the people who need it can’t find it. WoodHallx pairs evidence-based strategy with hands-on execution built for AI search, so your credibility shows up where it counts: in front of your community, your funders, and the AI tools that now decide who gets found.

You Shouldn't Have to Choose

For years, public health agencies, coalitions, and healthcare organizations across the DMV have faced the same bad choice: either hire a strategist who understands the mission but can’t build the digital infrastructure to prove it’s working, or hire a technical vendor who can build the infrastructure but doesn’t understand HIPAA, health equity, or what your organization actually needs.

WoodHallx is the partnership between Startup Launch Digital Strategy (SLDS) and The Digital Hall. We built it because that choice shouldn’t have to be made. One team. One method. One point of contact.

TWO PRACTICES, ONE PROBLEM

Built for Two Kinds of Work That Can't Afford to Get This Wrong

PUBLIC HEALTH AGENCIES & COALITIONS

“You already have the mission and the data. You need one consistent voice, and a way to prove it’s working.”

For Executive Directors, Communications Coordinators, Outreach Managers, and Program Officers stretched across multiple grants and programs, each with its own voice. We help you turn your evidence into one clear, funder-ready story that people actually find.

HEALTHCARE ORGANIZATIONS & PRACTICES

“Credibility is the cornerstone of the patient relationship. It has to show up before patients ever call your office.”

For independent practices, provider networks, and healthcare organizations losing ground to larger systems in AI and local search. We make sure your online presence reflects your real clinical expertise, with HIPAA-aware execution built in.

Proudly based in and built for the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region.

How We Work — The AIM Method

One Method. Every Engagement.

Every WoodHallx engagement runs on the same cycle. It is not a one-time project; it is a system that gets smarter with every round.

01

Audit & Assess

Understand your digital reality before building anything. We review technical SEO, AI visibility, website and user experience, ADA compliance, social media performance, keyword opportunities, and brand positioning together. Two audits can look at the same organization and find two very different problems.

02

Infrastructure Building

Build what makes your expertise easy to find. First comes the hidden structure behind your website that helps search engines and AI tools understand who you are. Then comes the public side: the content, design, and voice your audience actually sees.

03

Measure & Sustain

Focus on learning, not just activity. We track what’s changing, what’s working, and what the next audit should look at. The results feed directly back into Audit & Assess.

It’s not a checklist. It’s a system that grows stronger over time.

Beyond the Bubble: How Public Health Organizations Can Turn Expertise Into a Sustainable Digital System

Expertise doesn’t create impact just by existing. Most public health organizations are trapped in “the bubble”: they produce real expertise that is not built to reach the people who need it. Here’s the system that gets it out: our AIM framework, and why being visible still isn’t the same as being effective.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions We Get Before the First Call

What does WoodHallx actually do?

We pair evidence-based public health strategy with digital execution built for search and AI answer engines. In practice, that means auditing how your organization shows up today, building the infrastructure that makes your expertise findable, and measuring what changes. One team handles all of it, instead of a strategist and a technical vendor who never speak to each other.

How is AI search optimization different from SEO?

Traditional SEO works to rank a page in a list of links. AI search optimization, also called AEO and GEO, structures your content so search engines and AI assistants can find, parse, and cite it. As search shifts from a list of links to a generated answer, being the source behind that answer matters more than your position on page one.

Who do you work with?

We work with public health agencies and coalitions, as well as healthcare organizations and independent practices, primarily across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region. Our clients are usually executive directors, communications coordinators, outreach and program managers, and practice owners.

What is the AIM method?

AIM is one cycle that repeats on every engagement.

Audit & Assess reviews technical SEO, AI visibility, website and UX, ADA compliance, social performance, keyword opportunity, and brand positioning together.

Infrastructure Building creates the back-end structure that makes your organization legible to search engines and AI systems, followed by the public-facing content and design.

Measure & Sustain tracks what is changing and feeds those results into the next audit.

It is not a checklist; it is a system that compounds.

Do you understand HIPAA and health equity requirements?

Yes. We already speak public health and healthcare, so there is no learning curve on your mission, and HIPAA awareness is built into our execution from day one. Health equity shapes how we audit and build, from accessible design to content your community can understand and use. We do not provide legal or platform compliance determinations; that sign-off stays with your attorney or compliance officer.

Why two firms instead of one agency?

WoodHallx brings Startup Launch Digital Strategy and The Digital Hall to the same table, so strategy and technical structure are built together instead of patched together later. You still get one team, one methodology, and one point of contact.

How do we start?

We start with an audit. In a 30-minute intro call, we walk you through what is working, what is not, and where your organization is (and is not) showing up in search and AI-generated answers. No pitch required.
